On the crowded Main Street in Concord's historic town center, tourists and the store-fronts that cater to them have displaced the local stores once vital for residents' daily living.

 

A block away, here at the shopping center called Millbrook Plaza, occupancy is low, glazed store-fronts are blocked by the blinds of small professional offices inside, and acres of ashpalt cook in the sun.

The Moonlight Studio's Millbrooktown 2015 project proposes three small infill structures here to shape a dynamic pedestrian oriented mixed-use environment where locals could conduct some of their errands without feeling to the big-boxes on the 119 strip in Acton.
