Adding two wings to an 18th-century farmhouse, this project shapes new Master Suite and Great Room spaces around a patio for outdoor living which connects the adjacent new great room to the majority of the old farmstead landscape the Northeast.

 

Glavanized metal shed roofs shelter these frugal additions, which open outward to distinct high and low quadrants of the landscape. New surgery created a double-story kitchen to unite the antique core with a vertical interior focus.
